This ready-to-ride E-bike is the culmination of an “efficiency first” mindset and chosen components, professionally assembled and tuned right here in Northern Virginia. We started with a versatile 700c hybrid frame and integrated a 500W Bafang G340 Mid-Drive motor, creating a ride that feels incredibly natural but possesses a “hidden” endurance that most factory e-bikes can’t touch. By pairing this efficient motor with a high-capacity 52V Jumbo Shark battery, we’ve created a setup that prioritizes range and longevity. If you’ve been eyeing a DIY kit but aren’t ready to tackle the installation yourself, this is the no-headache way to get a high-spec, mid-drive machine that outclasses anything you’ll find at a big-box retailer.
What sets this build apart is the custom motor mapping. I personally tuned this Bafang drive to be exceptionally efficient in PAS levels 1 and 2, making it an endurance cyclist’s dream. Having ridden all sorts of trails in Northern Virginia, we found that by managing torque in the initial stages, you can squeeze an estimated 80+ miles out of a single charge. It’s the perfect companion for a daily commute into the city or a weekend-long exploration of the DMV trail system.
