These are the industry benchmark for a reason, we used the endurance known cells with Samsung 50G. A 20Ah capacity, you aren’t just getting range; you’re getting a cell designed for longevity. Even after years of repeated drain cycles, these cells maintain a superior current capacity, ensuring your investment pays off for thousands of miles.

The Reention DP-2170-5 case is built for durability. It features a rugged poly-carbonate shell and a secure, dual-key locking mount that keeps the 15lb weight of the battery perfectly stable on your downtube, even when traversing bumpy city streets or gravel paths.
-
Unlike standard connectors that can be a hassle to adapt, we use Anderson Powerpole connectors on this build. They are famous in the DIY community for their high-heat resistance and the ease with which they can be integrated into a variety of high-output controllers and motor systems with the perk of being easily swappable.
Optional connector swap or adapter is available upon request.
If a vendor cannot tell you how their batteries are configured, which cells were used for the pack, or what BMS is soldered, please be very cautious supporting these businesses as not all batteries packs are created equal and can be dangerous, especially in an e-bike use case.
What makes this Jumbo Shark stand out is the sheer stability of the Samsung 50G cells. We’ve found that these 5000mAh cells offer a remarkably flat discharge curve, meaning you get consistent power from the first mile to the last. While the “jumbo” profile requires a bit more room in your frame triangle, the payoff is a pack that runs cooler and stays healthy for 1,000+ cycles. We’ve paired this build with Anderson Powerpole connectors for a secure, high-current connection that DIYers love for its versatility. It’s a long-term energy solution for riders who want the absolute most out of their 52V mid-drive or hub motor system.
