Most Powerful Yet Tiny – 52V E-Bike Battery – Samsung 50S Wedge Shark

$400.00

This battery is one of our new favorites. It goes by many names, we don’t know how since it was recently designed by Lekkie and Reention. However, it is often called the mini shark, wedge style, or as we affectionately call it, the “Baby Shark” battery.

There are a number of reasons to love this battery pack, first being that the cells are Samsung 50S, which means that they’re high capacity cells that have a 50A continuous current which is incredible for it’s size and ability to be used in high degree riding such as eMTB, enduro, or simply desire to reach top speeds. The second reason is that this battery simply fits! If you have a full suspension or the bike’s frame does not offer a large triangle to mount many batteries, chances are that this wedge style will!

As the the famous photographer Chase Jarvis once said “the best camera is the one that’s with you,” that is also true for e-bikes, the best battery is the one that fits your frame and the type of riding you’ll be doing. If range anxiety is a thing for you, you can always get two!

52V E-Bike Battery – Samsung 50S Wedge Shark Pack (10Ah)

Samsung INR 21700-50S cells (5000mah)

This Wedge pack is a high-performance niche product. In the business, we call this a “problem solver” because it addresses the two biggest complaints in the DIY e-bike world: fitment issues on full-suspension bikes and voltage sag on high-performance motors.

Key Features:

  • The Samsung 50S are considered the mitochondria of the battery world. Just kidding, it’s not, no one calls it that but we do consider it the “Powerhouse” cells. These are a significant upgrade over standard cells, offering a 50A continuous discharge. This means even in a small 10Ah footprint, you get the raw power needed for high-performance motors like the Bafang BBSHD or CYC Stealth without the battery cutting out under heavy load.

  • The “Wedge” form factor  was specifically engineered for the “impossible” frames. Whether you have a full-suspension mountain bike with a rear shock in the way or a compact commuter frame, this “Baby Shark” fits where others fail. It’s the ultimate problem-solver for technical DIY builds.

  • Of course, it comes with the thermal-resistant XT90 Connectors because they are designed to handle the 50A current safely, offering superior heat resistance and anti-spark protection compared to the cheaper XT60s found on most budget packs.

Optional connector swap or adapter is available upon request.

If a vendor cannot tell you how their batteries are configured, which cells were used for the pack, or what BMS is soldered, please be very cautious supporting these businesses as not all batteries packs are created equal and can be dangerous, especially in an e-bike use case.

The 52V Samsung 50S Wedge Pack is the definitive answer for riders who refuse to compromise on power just because they have a limited frame triangle. While most high-capacity batteries require a massive amount of real estate, this “Baby Shark” utilizes a 14s2p configuration that delivers a punch far above its weight class. By leveraging the legendary Samsung 50S cells, we’ve managed to provide a massive 50A continuous discharge in a footprint that is nearly 4 inches shorter than a standard Shark pack. This makes it the “holy grail” for full-suspension mountain bikes and smaller commuter frames where every millimeter counts.
