Complete E-Bike Build – Hiland Fat Tire

This converted fat tire e-bike from Hiland is ideal for those commutes that have lots of sand, rocky hills, or even streets with lots of potholes with it’s 24 inch diameter tires by 4 inch sidewalls. Since fat tire bikes typically have a larger weight discrepancy compared to standard size wheels from 26″ to even 700c, we paired it with the Bafang G320 mid mount motor, generally known as the BBSHD and a great reliable powerhouse motor for this size. In order to use the peak 1,500 watts of power and the 160 Nm, we gave this bike our latest battery from Reention x Lekkie, the wedge mini shark battery with Samsung 50S cells. We did this primarily because it was the only battery we had that would fit inside the triangle, however, it was a perfect marriage because those 50S cells are great in the voltage range for the BBSHD, along with the fact that it allows higher amperage for those initial torque launches that will be sure to give you a speedy aggressive ride, while easily compensating for the added weight of the wheels/tires, when you’re out exploring!

The recommended height for this bike is anyone between 4 feet to 5′ 10″ or under, making this a great bike for teens through adults.
